Mindfulness Course Adults

“Wherever you go, there you are” ― Jon Kabat-Zinn ​

Our 8-week course is based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Mindfulness; it is something that anyone can do. It is the art to be in the present moment. Other than being in past and future. After all, what else is there? One can worry about the past and the future all they want, but they both are not HERE now, for NOW is here now. Maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. It is a skill that you can practice daily, what involves mindfulness meditation training, body awareness and mindful of the body moving.

Meditation Basics 4 week program

We all appreciate the need to look after our bodies through exercise, good diet and sufficient sleep. A similar need to look after our minds is often overlooked in our busy lives. One way of looking after our minds is to practise simple meditation techniques that provide a respite from the excessive mental activity that tend to crowd our inner world. This can than give us the mental space to develop more positive attitudes towards ourselves and others.

It will be a day of “being” versus “doing,”A day of mindfulness is a beautiful gift you can give to yourself.


The idea is to spend a whole day in mindful awareness.

Mindfulness Course for Kids

We offer 8 - 16 week courses. Age; 6-10 years old. Why Mindfulness for children? The goal of bringing Mindfulness to children would be to prepare them for life. At school the focus is mainly on theoretic learning, but not always putting much thought in developing  social and emotional skills. Through Mindfulness children can learn in a playful way these skills like cultivating empathy, managing (difficult) emotions and training their attention/concentration. Just like us adults , life for children nowadays can be very busy & very active. They might be restless, easily distracted, have trouble sleeping or lack of confidence. Their heads can be full of thoughts or worries about their day. The ‘On Switch’ works fine so how can we (adults), help them to find the ‘ OFF Switch’ and allow them to strengthen their ability to be present, learn how to respond rather than react and generate compassion for themselves and others?
