As the increasing amount of studies on mindfulness demonstrate, it can improve our mental and physical well-being. Until recently, the practice of mindfulness has been an individual choice; people have sought to gain greater
self-understanding, or re-order their hectic minds. However the advent of corporate interest has been spurred by an awareness that happy, balanced people make a stronger workforce.
Mindful Guatemala offers a wide range of fee-based private programs that make it possible for us to provide unique one-year mindfulness programs to at-risk, underserved children and youth in Guatemalan schools and other non-profits organizations, working to train not only the students, but also teachers and staff how to integrate social, emotional and mental well-being strategies through mindfulness in education. An essential goal of Mindful Guatemala is to ensure the sustainability and impact of mindful-awareness practices within the organizations by training qualified individuals as facilitators through our Mindful Teachers training.
The Mindful Guatemala Foundation; a pioneer in bringing Mindfulness to the Guatemalan population.
Our main goal and focus is to bring Mindfulness to 'at risk' youth.
"WE BELIEVE INNER PEACE IS ACHIEVABLE EVEN IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS."
We offer private & group mindfulness courses for kids, teens, adults, teachers, families, NGOs and businesses. A space where everyone can learn mindfulness skills in order to integrate social, emotional and mental well being strategies to look after the health of the mind.
An essential goal of Mindful Guatemala is to ensure the sustainability and impact of mindful awareness long term. We not only offer eight week programs, we have also developed a follow up, and monitor programs to ensure the impact of the course. Each program is specifically tailored towards the unique culture of the client group and the impact is monitored within our measurement program.
