"Mindfulness is

through paying attention,

awareness

that arises

on purpose,

in the present moment,

non-judgementally

."

- Jon Kabat Zin

Learn how to manage stress and anxiety!

Our 8-week adult course is based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn. He successfully brought together modern Western science and medicine traditions with ancient mindfulness techniques from the Far East. We meet 2 hours a week for 8 weeks, using a highly developed MBSR curriculum that teaches mindfulness techniques in a very practical and hands-on way.

The MBSR program’s 35-year history has revealed to science that it can deliver consistent and reliable improvements in individuals suffering from stress, anxiety and their related symptoms, both medical and psychological.

I highly recommend Mindful Guatemala’s 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course. It provides many useful tools to start a daily stress management practice and reminds us that we only live in the present. The instructor is very dedicated and makes the classes very didactic and interactive. Do not hesitate to take the course!

The program is very well-designed and its results and benefits are tangible. I really liked how each one of our questions and doubts were answered, not only in terms of the quality of information, but also in response to specific situations that each of us were experiencing. Super recommended.

I learned so much in a few weeks! Much more than I expected. Today, I am more aware of the small, but big details that surround me. I can appreciate them and be grateful for them. My goal at the beginning was to know myself, and today I can say that I am on that path. I now have the necessary tools to accept myself and be better with myself to give my best.
